The Shattered Veil map in Black Ops 6 allows you to obtain an empty canister, which can be converted into an explosive variant.
The process begins with obtaining an empty canister and then taking it to the correct place to fill it up. The full activity is part of the main quest, but this guide will help you to learn about all the steps. The harder task is finding the canister, as the game doesn’t elaborately tell you about the location.
Before we proceed, there are reportedly three canisters to find, and they are required to get upgrades for the Ray Gun Mark 2. Once I find more canisters and their spots, this guide will be updated.
How to get the empty canister in Shattered Veil of Black Ops 6?
To get an empty canister in Shattered Veil, you’ll need to use an LT53 Kazimir Tactical at a designated spot. The spot can be found near the Rear Patio area, situated just behind the Double Tap Perk machine. To make it easier for you, I have marked the spot where you need to be.
Once you get to the spot, use the LT53 Kazimir Tactical at the spawn area. It will create a black hole; wait for it to get over. Don’t try to interact with it since you will be teleported to a random position on the map, and your tactical will go to waste.
Once the black hole is over, you will find an empty canister at the spot (where you used the tactical). Pick it up to add to your inventory. I have also added a detailed section on how to get the LT53 Kazimir Tactical, but let’s find out how to fill the canister.
How to fill the canister in Black Ops 6
Head to the spawn area after obtaining the canister, and again, I have marked the correct location. At the location, you’ll find a machine that interacts with the canister. An Abomination will spawn the moment you interact with the machine, so be very careful.
You’ll come across a few small rocks at this spot. Use the Abomination’s beam attacks to light up the rocks. If the attacks land successfully, the rock will have a blue glow on it. The next part involves luring the Abomination to attack the charged rocks.
The rocks will start floating in the air once the Abomination hits it. Repeat the process for all three rocks, and it will start the following event: “Prevent Vermin from disrupting the energy siphon.”
Go back to the machine, and your empty canister will be explosive. The item can then be used as required.
How to get the LT53 Kazimir Tactical in Black Ops 6
There are different ways of obtaining and using an LT53 Kazimir Tactical.
- Equip it in your initial loadout before starting a fresh game.
- Craft the item using a Crafting Table.
- Get it from the Armory using a Loot Key.
The second method is the easiest one, as long as you have 1,500 Salvage. The Crafting Table is also located in the Rear Patio area, so you won’t need to travel far. The Loot Key can be obtained by eliminating the Elder Disciple, who spawns at Round 16.
