Yes. “Dateline” is dropping a brand-new episode on April 4 with an episode titled “Deadly Obsession.”
How to watch the latest episode of ‘Dateline’
“Dateline” will air its newest installment on Friday, April 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. CT.
The episode will be released for streaming on Peacock the following day on Saturday, April 5.
On Saturday, “Dateline” is also releasing the”Weekend Mystery” titled “The Streets of Laredo.” The episode drops on NBC at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT, and 1:30 a.m. MTN and 1:32 a.m. PT on Sunday morning due to NBC’s primetime programming.
On Sunday, April 6, “Dateline” correspondent Josh Mankiewicz reports on the murder of college student Mollie Tibbets in an episode entitled “The Last Mile.” The episode premieres on at 10 p.m. ET/PT and 9 p.m. CT on NBC.
What is the story behind tonight’s ‘Dateline’?
“Deadly Obsession,” the newest episode of “Dateline,” follows the murder of Topeka, Kansas couple Mike Sisco and Karen Harkness.
This March, a jury convicted Dana Chandler, Sisco’s ex-wife, of of two counts of murder in the third trial related to Sisco and Harkness’ murders.
Chandler was arrested in 2011, nine years after the murders, and convicted in 2012. The conviction was overturned by the Kansas Supreme Court, who found the prosecutor had lied to the jury. The jury failed to reach a verdict in the second trial in 2022.
The episode features interviews with Mike Sisco’s mother Carol Sisco, daughter Hailey Seel, sister Cathy Boots and brother-in-law Mark Boots; Karen Harkness’ daughter Erin Harkness Sutton and son Chad Harkness; former Topeka police saegeant Richard Volle; Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay; and others.
