Skills in Ghoul://Re are equally important both early and late into the game, and without them, you can only rely on your M1s until you get a Kagune or a Quinque. However, unlocking them requires quite a bit of effort. So, to help you unlock all of the best skills out there, we have prepared the following Ghoul://Re skill tree guide.
What is the Skill Tree in Ghoul://RE

The skill tree in Ghoul://Re lets you unlock special active and passive abilities that are usable even without a Kagune or a Quinque. To unlock a skill, you have to invest points into a specific tree line. Then, press the “Learn” button once you meet the skill’s requirements to unlock it. Learned skills will appear on your hotbar, and you can “rebind” them whenever you want.
How to Get Skill Points in Ghoul://RE

Gettings skill points in Ghoul://Re is no easy task. Except for the 10 SPs you get from completing the tutorial, your only way of obtaining more skill points is by ranking up. Now, to rank up, you will have to meet specific requirements, which differ depending on whether you decide to become a Ghoul or a Quinque. There are 10 ranks you can climb through, so the maximum amount of skill points you can earn is 50.
How to Reset the Skill Tree

If you want to respec your skill tree, you can do that at any point through the Shop menu (Cart icon in upper-left corner). However, keep in mind that neither of these options is free. Resetting your skill Tree costs 10 Ghoul Points or 100 Robux. If you want to save up both of these resources for the more important stuff in Ghoul://Re, then check out the meta skill tree setup further in the guide.
Ghoul://RE Skills
In total, there are 20 skills you can learn in Ghoul://Re. You can separate them into four skill groups based on the stat needed to unlock them. Those skill groups are Strength, Dexterity, Quinque Mastery, and Ghoul Mastery. Because you don’t need 50 skill Points to unlock all skills in a single group, you should diversify your SP investments.

Ghoul Mastery Skills
Skill | Description | Skill Type | Requirements |

Gnawing Hunger | The scent of blood entices you, sending you into a brief frenzy. | Passive | Mastery: 7 |
Survival Instinct | Gaining gnawing hunger regenerates your hunger and grants you a Hunger Drain Reduction buff. | Passive | Mastery: 10 |
Ingurgitate | Satiate yourself on the flesh of the living. Having your mask on will cause the move to wind up for longer, but it will net you more hunger if you land it successfully. | Passive | Mastery: 12 |
Sniff | Use your keen senses as a ghoul to locate nearby enemies. Those with high amounts of RC will give off a particularly strong scent. | Passive | Mastery: 15 |
Ambush | After stalking the ‘Doves,’ you’ve come to understand the mechanics of their ‘Quinque’ cases, and you could even break them if you attacked them unnoticed. | Passive | Mastery: 28 |
Thrill of the Hunt | When using “Sniff,” your chosen method of locating is switched to that of sound, sensing vibrations in the ground to give a more accurate sense of your surroundings. | Passive | Mastery: 33 |
The current meta skill Tree setup in Ghoul://Re is simple: level up Mastery until you unlock all of the available skills, and then spend the remaining SP on Strength. Mastery skills are the way to go because of how well they synergize with the rest of your abilities.
Dexterity, even though it does offer a variety of powerful moves, is just not worth investing in. Specifically, the last two Dexterity skills require too much SP to learn. Also, if you spend 32/33 SP to get all of the Quinque/Ghoul skills, you will be able to learn only three Strength or Dexterity skills. In general, the first three Strength skills are just better than their Dexterity counterparts.
