Bozoma Saint John is weighing in on Garcelle Beauvais‘ departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons.
The first-year housewife and her co-star Erika Jayne were on Bravo‘s Watch What Happens Live after the RHOBH Season 14 finale aired, and host Andy Cohen asked for their reactions.
Much to Cohen’s surprise, Bozoma and Erika remained mum as silence reigned on the precious airtime.
“You have no thoughts on it? Neither of you?” Cohen asked.
Bozoma then added, “Erika, say something,” who fired back and said, “You say something.”
Cohen was visibly shocked at Bozoma and Erika’s non-answer to Garcelle’s exit announcement.
Erika then looked at the camera with an inside joke saying, “Won’t he do it?”
Bozoma then mustered the courage to say something, telling Cohen, “I am disappointed that she is departing like this. I wish that she would’ve stuck around to work out another season.”
Cohen clarified that Bozoma was talking about Garcelle storming off the reunion set.
“I don’t think it’s a high note,” Bozoma added.
Erika noted that she had known Garcelle had quit since two weeks ago and knew that she was upset at the reunion.
Cohen clarified that he didn’t know Garcelle had quit RHOBH two weeks ago, adding, “When she left the reunion I wasn’t totally sure [she had quit].”
Erika said that Garcelle didn’t take the cast photo with them at the end of the reunion, which was a sign she was quitting the show. Cohen noted that Kyle Richards didn’t take a cast photo after her reunion last year and she was still on the show.
In the preview for the RHOBH Season 14 reunion, Garcelle is confronted by Dorit Kemsley over what she said about her home break-in, suggesting it was her husband, PK. Garcelle also has a heated exchange with Kyle over her her perception that Sutton Stracke wanted validation from her.
“I’m really pissed right now. So, I don’t want to answer anymore questions, honestly,” Garcelle says during a preview of the reunion and as she walks off the show’s set, she says, “Everybody can go f*** themselves, I don’t care.”
