Man Accused of Attacking Tesla With Mini 4-Wheeler Finds Out That Wasn’t a Smart Idea – RedState

Man Accused of Attacking Tesla With Mini 4-Wheeler Finds Out That Wasn’t a Smart Idea – RedState

You have to think there’s something wrong with folks who are attacking Teslas.

Of course, they’re wrong if they’re attacking Teslas because of Elon Musk if they’re falling for leftist talking points.

There’s also something wrong because if they actually break the law to attack Teslas, that’s immoral, and they should know it. But why attack Tesla, an American electric vehicle company that the left used to praise? It’s particularly ironic given that likely a lot of the owners of the vehicles being attacked are Democrats. The people behind these incidents don’t seem to be concerned about that.

But now a man accused of attacking a Tesla in Texas with his mini-four-wheeler found out that wasn’t such a good idea.

According to the report, the man, Demarkeyan Cox, allegedly ran his four-wheeler into a Tesla outside of the Golden Palace, a Chinese buffet restaurant in Texarkana.

What he didn’t realize? The Tesla has a Sentry mode that records everything and it also notified the owner who was in the buffet eating. The owner said she would have to shell out $1,000 to repair the damage to the car and that she didn’t know the suspect.

The police stopped the suspect about a mile from the Chinese buffet when they recognized him from the video.

“They approached him. He gave a fake name, which they quickly determined who he was. Based on what they had seen in the video they knew for a fact that he was the one who at least hit the initial Tesla,” said Shawn Vaugh, Texarkana, Texas Police Department PIO.

Police also suspect he may have been behind the damage to two other Teslas nearby. Police believe he used some sharp tool to scratch the word “Elon” onto the vehicles. Vaughn said he hadn’t told them what his motivation was.

But doing that isn’t doing anything to stop Elon from helping out the country. It is earning people some big charges, however.

Cox has been charged with felony criminal mischief and failure to identify. He has not been charged as to those other two vehicles yet; police are still investigating.

Not only did Cox get smacked with a felony charge, but he’s also being held in the Bi-State jail on some fairly substantial bail, $105,000.

These are not smart attacks when there are cameras on the vehicles to record them.

This is just the latest incident of an alleged attack on Teslas. There was another incident this week in Texas, where incendiary devices were actually found inside of a Tesla dealership. And as I reported, there was a man in South Carolina who unwisely managed to set himself on fire while trying to allegedly set fires at a Tesla charging station.

The FBI has also formed a task force to look into the incidents, so anyone involved in any attacks is going to be held to account.

The mainstream media is basically ignoring the domestic terrorism against Tesla—or when they’re not ignoring it, they seem to be cheering it on.
